The Second Question comes in our mind is How to make sure your website good to go on mobile.
We have discussed it about our last post so today i will point out some few points that can help your mobile site layout and navigation.
-Include a Viewport Meta Tag
The Viewport is a critical component that you need when building a multi device experience. Without it, your site will not work well on a mobile device.
- Responsive Menu
Having a responsive navigation bar that is both desktop and mobile friendly is important for your user's experience. Responsive menus are navigation menus whose presentation or behavior is altered on different devices and screen widths.
Your font size should be at least 14px. This may seem really big, but instead of having your users zoom in to read your content, or find mobile authentication to be virtually impossible, make it easier for them by adjusting your font size for maximum legibility.
- Remove the default Zoom
Auto zoom can really mess up your layout elements, especially for images and navigation content.
Elements may appear small or too large in your layout. To remedy this, use the viewpoint meta tag to set up custom variables within the content.
- Test!
Once you have created your responsive site, test it, test it again, and then test it again. I don't just mean try it on one mobile device multiple times. Test if our on an iPhone, an Andriod, a Windows phone and different tablets. Test every page, user action, and button.
What are the penalties for mobile unfriendliness?
The short answer is demotion. Your website will not rank high if the mobile seo is failed, or if the design is not responsive, or if the loading time is unbearable.
Google Rewarding Mobile Friendly Sites..
So don't have to panic as you will be able to rebuild your search ranking once passing the mobile friendly test.
